The projects of KEYtaab cater to the upbringing aspect of our Special Model of Social Change. By reaching out to orphans and juveniles in shelter homes across Mumbai and Delhi, we wish to include ourselves in the most corroborative manner in the growth cycle of these kids. Three KEYtaab projects operate in Mumbai, with two recently opened in Delhi.
KEYtaab’s founding project, Kondivita is an all-boys home from pre to late teens. Some of our boys here promise great public speaking skills. Along with reading, spelling, and math, our volunteers focus on developing their oratory skills.
Sprawling grounds and a huge hilly terrain surround this Homemade of nearly 50 boys falling anywhere between 11-20 years of age. Judging from the range of ambition they exhibit, we can’t even imagine how diverse their futures will be.
This one is famous for being infamous as one of the toughest KEYtaab projects. Majority of its boys belong to the streets of Wadala and are without any formal education. Mentored especially by an expert who designs a curriculum, our volunteers here have made Muskurahat proud.
Snehasadan- Mahakali Caves
Until very recently, this was KEYtaab’s special project at an all-girls Shelter Home. Nearly 20 girls ranging from 6 to 19 years, these kids belonged from pre-primary to college level. We will miss the energic happiness with which they enjoyed every session.
