Children Learning

Project KEYtaabArrow upwards

A flagship initiative, Project KEYtaab is an after-schoolprogram designed to provide children in grades 1 to 10 from underserved communities with holistic education. Initially volunteer-run, the program has evolved into a professionally managed daily intervention that focuses on building foundational academic skills, fostering social-emotional learning (SEL), and supporting mental well-being. With the mission to bridge educational inequity, Project KEYtaab is now expanding its reach through school partnerships to create a lasting impact on the lives of more children

Project Keytaab
For Schools

Recognizing the need for wider impact, we are now expanding Project KEYtaab into government schools. By partnering with schools and integrating our proven methodologies, we aim to improve the quality of education at the root. This will allow us to reach more children directly within school premises, leveraging existingresources to create lasting change.

After-School Program with Professional Teachers

The COVID-19 pandemic revealed major gaps in foundational literacy and numeracy. In response, Project KEYtaab transformed into a structured, daily after-school program led by qualified teachers. This shift allowed for more intensive, consistent interventions, replacing the weekend-only model. We also introduced a third pillar— Experiential Academic Learning — to enhance the existing focus on SEL and mental well-being.

Volunteer-Run After-School Program

Project KEYtaab started as a volunteer-led after- school initiative, where passionate youth worked with children from slums and shelter homes. Volunteers dedicated their time after school and on weekends, focusing on improving literacy and numeracy skills. From the beginning, the program emphasized Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and mental well-being, ensuring children received holistic support. The model provided consistent car e but was limited in scope due to the part-time commitment of volunteers.
