MUSKURAHAT FOUNDATION

In 2014, Himanshu Goenka, then a 17 year old, visited a shelter home to spend a day with the children to bring some happiness in their lives. His experience fostered the desire to do this for the rest of his life.

Over the last 10 years, Muskurahat has grown from a group of young volunteers bringing smiles to children in need to an impact driven education NGO that is striving to provide access to quality education and a chance for a better future to all children in need.

PUNIT JAIN

HEAD OF MARKETING

With eight years of marketing experience under his

belt, Punit has honed his skills collaborating with

agencies like WPP, Glitch, and 22Ft Tribal. He joined

Muskurahat to lead its communication and

marketing efforts, aligning his professional

expertise with his desire to make a meaningful

impact. Punit's drive to live purposefully serves as

his guiding light to empower Muskurahat and

catayze positive change in society.

HIMANSHU GOENKA

PRESIDENT

At 17, Himanshu sparked a group of young

individuals to take action for children in need. A

decade later, his single act of inspiration evolved

into a purpose-driven organization, motivating

thousands to advocate for children in need.

Transitioning from youth marketeer and event

manager to entrepreneur, Himanshu has embraced

various roles in his career. Yet, his role as a catalyst

for social action remains his most significant.

SNEHA POWAR

VICE PRESIDENT

Bringing 11 years of experience in the social sector,

Sneha has worked on CSR initiatives with Tata Sons,

Tata Consulting Engineer and Tata Motors,

transitioning to on-ground project implementation

with United Way Mumbai. Additionally, she has served

as a facilitator for corporates, educational institutions,

and non-profits on diverse subjects. Sneha's journey

with Muskurahat began during the height of the

pandemic, initially as a consultant before transitioning

to a full-time role. She now collaborates closely with

the team to develop organizational and program

strategies while enhancing operational capabilities.

HEAD OF CROWDFUNDING

Beginning his career in the retail sector, Samay

stumbled upon a volunteering opportunity at

Muskurahat. Over the next two years, he found

himself continually drawn back to the profound

fulfilment of meaningful work. Ultimately, he made

a decisive 180-degree turn, transitioning to a career

at Muskurahat, where he steadily advanced to a

leadership role in fundraising. Now, four years later,

Samay continues to lead with the same enthusiasm

he had on day one, eager to further leverage his

potential for impactful change.
